Consumer Advocacy
Hearing loss and advocacy
Advocacy is a vital part of the benefits BHA provide to the community. Our input and expertise is sought by a range of organisations, including corporate and government bodies.
A critical aspect of that advocacy is ensuring real-life experience is conveyed to those shaping policies and strategies for the future benefit of those hard of hearing.
Where possible, BHA seeks out people with relevant lived experience to provide their perspective on life with hearing loss as sought by various organisations.
